After the toasts, the cake cutting and all the guests have left, it's time for a little night romance. Elly and Seung walked down Kalakaua Avenue from their reception at the Moana Surfrider to end their wedding day on a romantic note. It had been a whirlwind day for both of them. Just hours before they were laughing and enjoying taking photos, and later exchanging their vows. There was a light sprinkling of rain before dinner on the Diamond Lawn, but it was brief and cooling. Before the reception ended the couple danced with their parents and friends. Elly and Seung were married on September 21.

fr. Sherry & Quentin

I am speechless. The photos are nothing short of fabulous. For a lot of the photos, I didn't even know you and Eugene were there! You caught things that I didn't even know you would. They are truly works of art.
Gosh, Joy, I can't stop looking at the photos. You and Eugene are SO talented! I don't know how you folks do it, but you are able to capture so much ... the emotion, the physical layout, the anticipation. Beautiful!
First dance funk
The options are limited for a couple's first dance. You can sway side to side, you can take ballroom dancing lessons, or you can kick up the choreography like Michelle and Ryan and wow your guests "Dancing with the Stars" style. After their grand entrance into the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Ryan led Michelle to the dance floor and struck a pose. Soon they were moving to the beat, their motions perfectly in sync. What a cool couple! Michelle and Ryan were married on September 14 at the poolside terrace of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki.
Cookie master
Jennifer used her hobby of baking cookies to share her special talent with the guests at her wedding. Len and Jennifer where married at the Hawaii Prince Hotel at 10:00 am on September 14. Jennifer took on the task of making 1300 Russian tea cookies for their favors. That's an amazing amount of cookies, even if it's your hobby! We were fortunate to also receive Jennifer's chocolate chip cookies as a thank you.
Club Halekulani
Where's the hottest after dark spot in Waikiki? On September 6 it was at the Halekulani Hotel at Rachel and Kevin's wedding reception. The tranquil ceremony at the Hau Terrace did not foreshadow the high-energy party in the ballroom. Guests were excited with the traditional lion dance and later everyone joined the conga line. Who can stay in their seats when there are maracas to shake?
Pre-game warm up wedding
Long-distance wedding planning is not easy. Luckily, bride-to-be Sherry had a large support group of family and friends to help make everything go smoothly for her wedding to Quentin on September 6. After the ceremony at the Kahala Hotel's Koko Head gazebo, guests moved into the Maile Ballroom for the brunch reception. An unforgettably funny moment came during one of the banzai toasts when a friend of the family shared how the wedding date had created a dilemma for Warrior football fans. On the other hand, since Sherry scheduled her wedding in the morning, the reception was the ultimate tailgate party. Go Warriors! Go Sherry and Quentin!
Surprise guests
Stacey was expecting a private ceremony for 2 on the balcony of her suite at the Halekulani. Her fiancee Jeff had a huge surprise brewing behind her back. Jeff arranged to have both sets of parents and all their children present for their September 3rd wedding. Minutes before the start of the ceremony a knock came at the door and in burst Stacey's gift. After hugs and lei exchanges, the small group gathered on the balcony, and with a fantastic view of Diamond Head behind them, Stacey and Jeff said their vows. Since the couple is in the wine business, the bride had arranged for a special bottle of champagne engraved with their names and the wedding date.
Manele, me & you
Patrice and Charles were grateful that Joy would travel from Oahu to Lanai just for a 2-person wedding, but as she told them, "Who wouldn't want to come to Lanai?" The couple described their ideal wedding as private and without the stress that comes with a larger affair. On September 5, Patrice and Charles exchanged their vows in the garden of the Manele Bay Resort. The highlight of the photo session for the groon was capturing the hugh waves breaking in the bay since he enjoyed surfing in them just a day before the ceremony. A romantic dinner for 2 was waiting for the newlyweds when they returned to their oceanfront suite.
